The first time I experienced Walt Disney World was as an adult and, I have to say, it was the most magical vacation of my life. My husband and I planned it as a surprise Christmas present for our three kids (then Rose 6, Charlotte 3 ½ and Patrick 6 months). They walked down the stairs on Christmas morning to find 2 suitcases and a note from Santa saying they were leaving for Disney World THAT MORNING! I don’t think they quite understood the magnitude of what they were about to experience, even though Rose had been asking to go since she was 4! Sure they love all the princesses but it wasn’t until we walked through the gates at Magic Kingdom that first day and went for their princess makeovers at the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique when I saw their little eyes just light up. They were in awe of the magic of Disney and as a parent there is no better feeling.
